2018 Safest Cars according to the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety

Clifton Auto knows cars accidents all too well, but we would prefer they didn't happen. The safety of our clients is paramount to us. When talking about safe cars, people usually discuss Volvo's as the safest car around, but the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not included any of the Volvo series in their list for the 2018 Top Safety Picks. Among the top winners this year for these awards go to South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai, which includes the Kia and Genesis brands.
 

The president of the IIHS made a state: "The improvements in occupant protection have been amazing over the past decades. All automakers now recognize the important role of safety in consumer choice, and they are increasingly receptive to working with our engineers to understand the next steps in keeping people from harm in motor vehicle crashes and to make real changes in their vehicle designs."
